Trying to come up with catchy headlines that will entice your readers to do the one thing you want them to do … open your newsletter or read your blog post, isn’t always easy. What you think is a good headline or subject line, doesn’t always work. Believe it or not, there is a formula! Yep, a formula for finding the right combination of words to be effective. Sound complicated? Yes it does, which is why I love CoSchedule’s headline analyzer! The headline analyzer makes it easy to find just the right combination of everything you need to make a great headline.
Online tools are great. They allow us to shave precious time off of our busy days, streamline our processes, and even save money. They also help us grow our businesses, with many of the best tools available these days being free or very affordable. Here are a few tools and resources to consider:
Camtasia: Videos are hot right now and many of your potential clients may prefer to “view” rather than “read.” Camtasia (while it’s not one of the free resources and isn’t necessarily cheap) is a way to record and edit professional videos for a stellar final product. You might also consider Jing, a free product by the makers of Camtasia that allows you to easily take screenshots and screencasts on the fly.
FileZilla: FileZilla Client is a fast and reliable cross-platform FTP, FTPS and SFTP client with lots of useful features and an intuitive graphical user interface.
7-Zip: 7-Zip is a great (and fast) way to unzip those pesky zip files. You can use 7-Zip on any computer; including a computer in a commercial organization. You don’t need to register or pay for 7-Zip either.
EzineArticles: Article marketing is a great way to spread your brand, drive traffic, and show your credibility and expertise. EzineArticles allows expert authors in hundreds of niche fields to get massive levels of exposure in exchange for the submission of quality original articles. EZineArticles also offers a free WordPress Plug-in that allows users to submit content to EzineArticles directly from WordPress, without ever having to leave their own site.
