If you were to poll a hundred entrepreneurs to ask them if they love handling their entire workload and all of the technical marketing or administrative tasks that go along with operating a business, I would be surprised if you got a single, solitary yes.
I rarely post about my team and the services we provide because, well, this blog is about you and your business, not me and mine! However, something happened in my business recently that would be impossible to share if I don’t talk a bit about what we do and how we’ve perfected our communication channels so we can be as efficient as possible.
This seems to be the question of the day. We all know (or at least we should) social media works. But, BUT, who has time for it? The most frequent answer to the question is, not me!
But that doesn’t have to be the case. Social media works and, for the most part, is free. So rather than missing out on one of the greatest marketing tools out there …
Then get back to it …
I can hear you now … more stuff about email marketing? Really?
The answer is yes, really! Statistics show email marketing is very much alive and well, and STILL one of the most effective marketing tactics. But don’t take my word for it, here are 25 email stats that might surprise you.
You don’t have to!
If you are struggling to come up with copy for your social media, blog posts, articles, website or anything else, for any reason … you don’t have to! Whether it’s because you don’t have enough time, can’t find the words, or you simply don’t want to, we have the solution.
If it doesn’t, it should.
Marketing is all about consistency. Consistency in staying in touch with those on your list. Consistency in your social media efforts. Consistency in the look and feel of your branding.
By having a consistent look in everything you send out to your list and everything you promote on your social media channels, it makes it easier for your followers to recognize everything you are doing in your marketing efforts.
Most of us have thought about how cool it would be to start podcasting. At least I have, as Podcasting is becoming more and more popular every day. It’s a great way to get your content out to yet another market. Those who prefer to listen to content, and even more so – those who prefer to listen on the go. We can get overwhelmed just thinking about all the steps it takes to get from concept to final product. Not only do you have to come up with the content, but then you have to record the podcast. But that’s only the beginning. The next steps, and the ones that seem to cause business owners the most anxiety and tend to stop them in their tracks are the editing, the mixing, adding an intro and then an outro … sheesh!
How many times have you heard the phrase “the money is in the list?” Personally, I’ve heard it a gazillion times if I’ve heard it once. The thing is, in the email marketing world, it’s a pretty accurate statement. Any marketing-savvy business owner knows the value of email marketing and having a good list.
One of the great things about having a list is that it’s comprised of people who voluntarily signed up to receive information from you. They signed up because they are interested in what you have to offer. You already have their attention, so make use of it!
Look no more …
In addition to the typical tasks you would think of when having an online marketing support specialist handle your social media, one of the many additional services they can provide is to create those awesome text/graphic and motivational quotes you see popping up everywhere. Not only can your OMS create this great graphic content, but they can schedule their creations for you through CoSchedule, Hootsuite, Edgar or any social media scheduling platform of your choice.
