Social media and social media tools change and come and go at the drop of a hat. As much as most of us prefer consistency, it’s just NOT gonna happen. Today’s post is about a few random bits of social media updates for a couple of tools and apps. Some good, some not so good … it just depends on whether or not you use the tools and resources I’m talking about.
When it comes to business, marketing can be done in a variety of ways; but its end-game is ultimately the same, no matter how you do it.
Most of us have business cards. And most of us hand them out at networking events. We hand them directly to people we meet and we put them in fish bowls and boxes to register for prizes. And we all (hopefully) know the true purpose of having people drop their business cards in the bowls and boxes to register for prizes. It’s to get everyone’s contact information so we can stay in contact with them after the event, and most likely add them to our list so we can communicate with them on a regular basis.
If you remember that line … you’re really dating yourself. But whether you remember it or not, it really doesn’t matter because this post isn’t about Memorex, it’s about Facebook Live. I just thought it was a catchy title 😉
Video has always intimidated the crud out of me; and I successfully managed to avoid it for quite a while. Unfortunately, video has become more and more popular, and the stats for people who use video in social media versus those who don’t, just reinforce that it’s here to stay and it’s more popular than ever.
