In the past, Instagram has been dismissed as “another fussy photo filter.”
But in 2012 Facebook purchased Instagram, and shortly thereafter it surpassed Twitter in frequency of daily use. Suddenly, business professionals and online marketers took notice.

What many people don’t know, however, is that Instagram allows users to take great looking pictures with their mobile devices and then post them directly to where they want; including Facebook Business Pages. This was a much welcomed bonus for many since the inability to post photos from their mobile device directly to their Facebook Business Pages (Profile-YES. Page-NO) had many users frustrated. The option to direct your Instagram images can be found within the Instagram app under “edit sharing settings.” Simply choose the Facebook option, then “post to.” This allows a dropdown to appear of all your Facebook Business Pages. Instagram is available for Android as well, and users can also share to Twitter and Tumblr.
You might want to at least consider checking out Instagram; because, let’s face it, images are becoming more and more important in our social media efforts these days.
