Here’s a great tip one my team members, Jama St. John, passed along that I just had to share. Many of us take advantage of scheduling programs like TimeTrade, that allow prospects and potential customers to view our calendars and book their own appointments. You can include links to your calendar in an email or in your email signature; but for those of you who want to go one step further, there is a way to embed TimeTrade into your website so visitors don’t have to leave your website to schedule an appointment. One of the downsides of TimeTrade has been that the appointment link will send prospects to TimeTrade’s website to actually schedule the appointment. However, with the use of iframes, you can set it up so your visitors can schedule their appointment without ever having to leave your website!
Use this tag on a web page to put the TimeTrade scheduler window right inside your website:
<iframe width=”750″ height=”600″ src=”https://my.timedriver.com/XXXXX?sh=1″ frameborder=”0″></iframe>
And replace the XXXXX with the Actiity ID found in the link you’re currently giving to your prospects.
Here’s an article that will provide more information about how embedding TimeTrade into your website will provide a better customer service experience: http://blog.timetrade.com/2011/10/07/embed-timetrade-for-a-better-customer-experience/
