Adele Postma – Infusionsoft SpecialistAdele received her Bachelor of Primary Education Degree in Johannesburg, South Africa. After seven years of teaching experience in her South African home town, she immigrated to Canada with her husband and two young children. She transitioned to the Virtual work force in 2008, gaining valuable skills and embracing each new challenge of her new found career as a Virtual Assistant. Adele specializes in providing support for wide range of administrative tasks, her specialty being Infusionsoft.
Rebecca Flansburg - Creative Writing and Social Media SpecialistRebecca has a strong background in blogging for business, article writing, and Social Media optimization. She also has a 30 year background in retail sales and is a graduate of Social Media Examiner’s Social Media Summit. Rebecca prides herself in writing and blogging in an engaging and conversational voice, and believes that people may not always remember a sales pitch, but they almost always remember a story. Rebecca’s social media strengths are in Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
Caley Walsh – Websites, Blogsites & Graphic Design SpecialistWith over 12 years in the administration field, Caley brings a wealth of experience to the table. In addition to being skilled in a variety of general administrative skills Caley specializes in providing Graphic and Web Design, Custom Website and WordPress Blogsite Creation and Maintenance services. No matter what the need … a brand new website or blogsite, an updated website, a customized WordPress blog, logo, graphic banner, custom ezine template, you name it; Caley has the skills to provide what you need.
Carla Wilson – Virtual Event and Audio/Video Specialist
Carla is a Certified Virtual Assistant (CVA) and has been a marketing consultant since 2003. Her love of multimedia lead her to pursue certification as a Virtual Events Specialist. As the BizEase team’s Virtual Events Specialist, Carla consults, coaches, emcees and manages teleseminars, webinars and other virtual events for our clients. An avid podcaster, Carla also handles all of the audio/video needs for our clients. Recording, editing, mastering, podcast production, manipulating/managing digital audio/video files, repurposing info into other formats, coaching and consulting, whatever the need!
Debbie Saro – WordPress SpecialistDebbie has been working as a virtual assistant for more than 8 years supporting clients with marketing consultation and project management services and joins the team as one of our resident WordPress, Website and WishList Membership site experts. Debbie has continued to pursue her passion of website development using WordPress as CMS (content management system) to produce functional and effective sites for small and growing businesses.
Diana Ennen – PR/Marketing SpecialistDiana has been a leader in the VA Industry for 25 years having started her business in 1985. She’s the author of 7 books (3 published, 4 self-published) and today specializes in PR and Marketing and helping clients get more PR whether that’s through press release writing and distribution, article marketing, social media, direct pitching, assisting in getting book reviews, online marketing, etc. As a published author, her writing skills help to produce copy that sells and her excellent research and established databases helps to get that copy to the right places. Marketing is her passion and she loves helping to make a difference in the businesses that she works with.
Doreen DeJesus – Project Manager/Online Support Specialist
Doreen has been a virtual business professional since 2004 and offers over 23 years experience in office management and procedures. She has experience working in the hospitality, real estate, accounting and financial industries. Her extensive training includes office management, event coordination, marketing, project management, website design and maintenance, Joomla, multimedia presentations, social media marketing, and much more. In order to provide her clients a diverse skill set, she has completed certification for the following; Professional Virtual Author’s Assistant, Certified Travel Planner, Certified Real Estate Assistant, Graduate Virtual Assistant, Certified Real Estate Support Specialist and IVAA Ethics Checked. To add to her ever growing skill set, Doreen is currently working on certification as a Master Shopping Cart Specialist, Social Marketing Specialist and Internet Marketing Specialist.
Jama St. John – Infusionsoft SpecialistJama has been a part of the virtual assistant industry since 1996. Before becoming a virtual assistant, Jama’s background includes working for an independent bank as an administrative assistant/executive assistant and as a legal secretary. Jama’s skill and experience include general administrative support, transcription and desktop publishing. She also brings her knowledge and expertise in InfusionSoft to the BizEase team.
Jenna Nash – Virtual Event & Social Media Specialist
Jenna specializes in social media marketing and virtual event strategies for online business owners. Jenna obtained her Social Media Marketing Specialist certification from VAClassroom, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Human Resources and Marketing from Thompson Rivers University. Jenna enjoys assisting online entrepreneursadvance their social media and virtual event needs and helping them create their online presence.
Jim Green – Computer and Data Support SpecialistLeaving the corporate rat race behind, Jim joined the team full-time back in 2006 with an education in Computer Science and an Associate Degree of Applied Science Engineering Technology, Jim has an extensive background and knowledge in the areas of computer hardware, networking, software and administration. He has a broad range of skills and expertise in PC building and upgrades, OSTicket installations, programming, technical support, virus removal, data recovery and system backups and security. Jim is also experienced in database creation, maintenance and conversion.
Lara Nieberding – Online Support Specialist/Social Media Specialist
The best kept secret in the VA industry. Virtual Assistants turn to Lara when they want Internet research done. Since joining the VA industry in 2007, she has helped many virtual assistants and clients find what they are looking for. Although she specializes in “digging” around the Internet, Lara has a wide range of administrative skills including newsletter creation, blog creation and maintenance, and membership maintenance…Her “can-do” attitude, ability to make deadlines and dogged determination make her an asset to the team. A graduate of VAClassroom’s Social Media Specialist course, Lara extends her expertise in research as our resident Reputation Management Specialist.
Marlene Eldemire – Travel SpecialistWorking virtually since 1999, Marlene has spent 20+ years in the travel industry and founded a mid-sized brick and mortar travel agency. When the virtual workplace became an option, Marlene closed the physical location and moved all employees into their own home offices to become virtual travel consultants. In addition to being a full-fledged virtual assistant, Marlene maintains her status as a home-based professional travel specialist through a large accredited agency. She subscribes to a GDS (Global Distribution System) which gives her access to competitive airfares, hotel and car rental rates, tour packages and cruises. Marlene reserves and tickets all of her clients reservations from her home office, thus, she can handle all changes, reissues and refunds. At her clients’ request, she will also compare her GDS rates to those of Orbitz, Expedia, Kayak and any other internet travel venue.
Pam Sargant – Graphic ArtistWith more than 8 years experience as a graphic artist, Pam specializes in the production of custom images and specialized web templates. All of Pam’s artwork is completely original, and comes with full copyright protection to ensure that your new artwork remains exclusively yours. In addition to providing custom artwork, Pam’s graphic abilities include the creation of custom headers, banners, buttons, backgrounds (even Social Networks), labels and a variety of other images for blogs, ezines and other platforms.
Patty Dost – Online Support SpecialistPatty brings more than 20 years of administrative support experience to BizEase. As a VA, Patty’s areas of expertise include (but are certainly not limited to): editing/proofreading, spreadsheets, word processing, website critiques, email management, Internet research, press release and article submissions, reminder services, and newsletter preparation and distribution, and Moodle.
Theresa Scholes – Social Media & Internet Marketing Specialist
Theresa specializes in social media and internet marketing strategies and implementation for the online business owner. Always out to learn, Theresa obtained her Certification from VAClassroom in Internet and Social Media Marketing. A firm believer in matching the right actions to realistic goals, Theresa helps time-strapped entrepreneurs use the social web to raise their profile and boost profits. More advanced skills included E-Commerce set- up using Aweber and 1 Shopping Cart, WordPress Set-up and Customization and the developing of online membership sites using Wishlist Member.
Yvonne McCoy – Graphic Design/InDesign Specialist
Yvonne has a rich background in administrative work, with over twenty years in the field. Recently however, she has decided to follow her passion for design and pursue a degree in graphic design. Her mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign helps bring clients’ projects to a whole new level of beauty, whether they need photo retouching, logo design, or page layouts. Add to this a thorough knowledge of typography and printing requirements and clients can rest assured sure their printed materials will be prepared to exactly the right specifications for best results. Yvonne has also gone through the Author Assistant training program as well as VAClassroom’s Product Launch Specialist program.
